Our Programs & Projects

At the I AM BLACK Ministry, our work is grounded in one conviction: a people who know their roots can stand with dignity, faith, and purpose. Our programs are designed to reconnect memory, reconcile identity, and resource leadership across Africa and the global Black diaspora—through a God-centered, Pan-African Christian lens. We do not rush the work. We build it carefully, drawing from history, faith, culture, and lived experience.

IAB Roots & Reflection Forum

Educating, conscientizing, training, and organizing educational trips to liberate and empower Black Africans.

IAB Heritage Hour

Heritage Hour is a monthly event where IAB members explore topics on Pan-Africanism, Christianity, and social justice. Each session features a researched presentation and open discussion, fostering deeper understanding and connection to our shared heritage and faith.

IAB Heritage Tour

The Heritage Tour is an annual event organized by the I Am Black (IAB) Ministry to explore significant sites that celebrate the rich history and culture of Black Africans. Participants engage in educational visits, cultural activities, and spiritual reflections, fostering a deeper connection to our heritage and empowering community advocacy for social justice. Join us as we celebrate our roots and strengthen our collective identity!

IAB Heart for Kids

We believe that providing resources and raising awareness from a young age is essential. IAB is deeply committed to supporting children's education, particularly for orphans and those in need. Our recent donation of 500 exercise books, notebooks, and pens to the students of Great Divine Knowledge International in Oyarifa reflects our dedication to this cause.

IAB Family Time

We believe that self-care is essential to our well-being. IAB regularly organizes excursions and fun trips to foster deep connections within our community, enhancing the bond and solidarity among us. Our most recent outing was a fun trip to Labadi Beach.
