Our Projects

At I AM BLACK (IAB) Ministry, our mission is to empower Black Africans through education, training, and conscientization. We are steadfast in our commitment to providing resources and opportunities that cultivate both personal and collective advancement.

1. Educational Support

We prioritize increasing access to quality education—especially for orphans and vulnerable children. Our efforts include donating essential learning materials and supporting educational institutions that serve underserved communities.

2. Conscientization and Training

We offer programs that awaken awareness and build practical skills for life and leadership. Through workshops and hands-on training, we equip individuals with the tools they need to rise as informed, capable leaders and agents of change.

3. Educational Trips

We organize immersive educational trips that expand horizons and deepen understanding. These journeys complement traditional schooling by engaging participants with new environments, ideas, and cultures—shaping well-rounded, globally-minded individuals.

4. Empowerment Through Knowledge

By integrating academic education, skills training, and experiential learning, we empower our people toward liberation and leadership. Our initiatives are designed to cultivate a community of confident, competent individuals prepared to foster progress and inspire transformation.

IAB Heritage Hour

Heritage Hour is a monthly event where IAB members explore topics on Pan-Africanism, Christianity, and social justice. Each session features a researched presentation and open discussion, fostering deeper understanding and connection to our shared heritage and faith.

IAB Heritage Tour

The Heritage Tour is an annual event organized by the I Am Black (IAB) Ministry to explore significant sites that celebrate the rich history and culture of Black Africans. Participants engage in educational visits, cultural activities, and spiritual reflections, fostering a deeper connection to our heritage and empowering community advocacy for social justice. Join us as we celebrate our roots and strengthen our collective identity!

IAB Heart for Kids

We believe that providing resources and raising awareness from a young age is essential. IAB is deeply committed to supporting children's education, particularly for orphans and those in need. Our recent donation of 200 exercise books, notebooks, and pens to the students of Great Divine Knowledge International in Oyarifa reflects our dedication to this cause.

IAB Family Time

We believe that self-care is essential to our well-being. IAB regularly organizes excursions and fun trips to foster deep connections within our community, enhancing the bond and solidarity among us. Our most recent outing was a fun trip to Labadi Beach.
